The Body Of An Unidentified Man Was Discovered Today

HI.
Hi.
COME HERE OFTEN?
Yeah, I do.
ME TOO.
I'm surprised we've never met before.
I GUESS IT WAS INEVITABLE.
I seem to live here.
I HAVE A HOME IN THE VALLEY.
I live about a mile from here.
OH?
Yeah, near the edge.
YOU LIVE CLOSE TO THE EDGE?
Yes, just this side of the point of no return.
I KNOW THAT PLACE WELL.
It's not so bad.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN THERE?
I guess I've lived close to the edge just this side of the point of no return all my life.
WELL, LOOK. THIS PLACE IS ABOUT TO CLOSE. ARE YOU READY TO GET OUT OF HERE?
Yes, I really am.
GREAT.
You say you live in the Valley?
YES.
Where abouts?
RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO THE SHADOW OF DEATH.
Really? What's that like?
COME I'LL SHOW YOU. YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE IT!

Clever modern passion play set in a bar at closing time. Fine work.
