The Body Of What We Deserved Poem by Newo Enec

The Body Of What We Deserved

All my inspirations gone
Left wordless behind your lies
Give one more day, prolong my stay
To fall awake tonight
You've dried me up
So the words can't flow from my head
You're drunk with my blood
And can't recall anything that was said
You've poured out the cup
Containing my sins
To set free carnal urges of me
The distance
Between your passion and my insecurity
Is great but
Crushed in the face of desire
Speechless, you left me
Cold on the floor all alone
Desolate, empty
May I crown this stark hell as my home
Repetitive envy
Envelop my soul with your own
Envelop me now as your own
You leave me here speechless
With the body of futile unearthed
In the end of it all, here in my arms
Lies the body of what we deserved
