The Bonny Wee Fleet On Its Way To the Fair Solway

Rating: 5.0

The Bonny Wee Fleet

I love the Fleet
The bonny wee Fleet
That bobs through Gatehouse
Around its feet.

It twists and turns
Like a path on the brae,
On its way to the
Fair Solway.

The Fleet, the Fleet,
My bonnie wee Fleet
When I first saw you
My heart did greet,
My legs did a jig
They cannot do now
When I first saw you
From Vinnie Hill's brow.

The Fleet the Fleet
The bonny wee Fleet
That bobs through Gatehouse
Around its feet.

It twists and turns
Like a path on the brae
On its way to the
Fair Solway.
