The Boulder Poem by TaBresha Bozeman

The Boulder

Rating: 5.0

Lying under here
For what seems like forever
Weighing the weight on my shoulders
Feels like my legs are being severed

The boulder won't budge
No matter how much I stuggle
And the more I move
The more the weight doubles

Nothing left to do but cry
But only tears of joy
This is my freedom to serenity and peace
Eliminating all stress and noise

One day a rose will grow
From underneath my blood
I will be picked and given away
To show someone else love

This is redoubtable! Outstanding and deep. A true work of art.
