The Boy Who Called Me Beautiful Poem by abi Whitaker

The Boy Who Called Me Beautiful

I blow out the candles on my cake
My fathers smile is so fake
My pompoms blocked my view
Of your pretty face
I hide mine
Because its a disgrace
But your the boy
Who called me pretty
The boy who called me beautiful
The one who said i was great
The only one
Who thinks i'm funny
and honey
i'd say the same about you
Believe me it's hard not too
But in my situation
I cant
You understand.
