The Breez Was Empty - Poem by DAVID GERARDINO

step into my reality
watch me as i fight
perection.
on my right -feilds
and rivers.
on my left- wonder
and wine.
in the middle -a path
leading to rebellion,
and obedience.
step in my world
where the sky is the roof.

I liked this one David. I believe we do rebel against perfection at the best of times as it seems to be the way we are in the world. Thank you for the thoughts. (Report) Reply

The point of the poem is, thier is no perfection. (Report) Reply

Did you mean to say 'perfection' and 'fields? ' Interesting piece. I'm not sure I get it. Why would you fight perfection? And how does a path lead both to rebellion and obedience? I guess anything is possible but you don't give enough clues to go on. (Report) Reply
