The Bug Poem by Dónall Dempsey

The Bug

Rating: 3.8

Ladybird
crawls across the world

of an open
atlas

unconcernedly scaling
mountains

walking on the water
of an ocean

it is crossing
with a blasé lazy motion

following each
twist & turn

(as if it must)

of the river
it is exploring

unaware perhaps
that this river is

the Bug.
