I love cats too so he would have limped for a month had I been there. Good for you Cynthia! A young 10yr old lad who was actually an accomplished fighter and approaching his Black Belt exams in TaeKwonDo at the same club I train at was attacked in the school playground by a young thug. Unlike his normal reaction of walking away, this time he flattened his assailant with a spinning kick to the side of the head. The headmaster very quietly told him in the office that he had done exactly the right thing and there should be a lot less trouble in the playground henceforth. He was right. I wish more headmasters were as practical! I did something similar in the 70's to two would-be bullies. This was before martial arts was widely practised. No-one ever picked on me again. Bullies can be easy.
