My heart is within a cage and keys come few,

and those without may view.

those with keys can come within,

but may lose their keys because of sin.

those that hurt me must fly away,

or risk being hurt if they stay.

I stay in this cage happily as I sing,

my heart guarded from hurt sting.

my heart is caged and keys are few,

but I will give you one if I love you.
