The Call Poem by Ivy Schex

The Call

Rating: 5.0

Head up, neck outstretched
Reaching for the winking star
The horse glides over the snow
And the call is echoed over far

The call of running in the moonlight
Of whispering through the trees
The cry of all the shifting shadows
And galloping with the breeze

This poem did more than own up to its title, it took it beyond The Call. Wonderful poem. Full of spirit and freedom. Thank you.
