The Calling Poem by Cynthia Aluning

The Calling

Rating: 5.0

Find it comical, might it be cynical
A mix of sarcasms in views so poetical
Bits of misanthrope but far from hyperbole
Sounds pathetic...far sympathetic

Unmasked...Uncovered...Unraveled

A perfect blend between sun and moon
The goddess against the fangs of the beasts
In its captivation, tactlessly tackles
A sweet revenge for the dumb and the dumbest

Silence and composure make a man appears wiser
Indistinctive whispers...will soon echo to the world
As I silence the wise from the sharpness of my pen
Welcome! to the other side of me...
