The Cards And The Gamblers
(WANGCHAT KONYAK)
The cards and the gamblers
Was set before me,
And I could not abstained my eyes
From the sweat-less fortunes.
For an hour, I gazed and gazed,
Until, I was spell by its easeful charm;
Then, I decided to try my luck,
Expecting, chance to stand by my-side.
Hence, in wants of easy wealth,
I risked my weekend bread and butter;
And bet my hard-earned wages in a cards,
Alas! I found myself in a tearful remorse.
The cards and the gamblers
Was set before me,
And my wants has thus robe my joy,
And now, I can't find a path to escape my debts.
