~the Cat Stretches Out His Length
~ The Cat Stretches Out
The cat stretches out his length,
Not caring who observes,
Extending out his muscle’s strength,
Relaxing all his nerves.
Then he strolls around a bit,
Not caring where he goes,
Before he drapes across a chair
For a moment of repose.
To make his mind a vacuum,
‘Tis possible I know,
For sometimes I have tried it
And found that it is so.
In this supine position,
A secret we appraise,
We creatures need recurrent lull
Before renewal of the chase.
Mmmmmm and I just feel him stretching out his length so adorably cat wise. 'drapes across a chair in a moment of repose'. I love cats, but my Ragdoll cat was knocked over by a car a few months ago. I agree, they set the standard for us to have our minds in a vacuum and totally relax and that's why I think they are such good therapy for us. Love you poem Adeline. 10

This is just beautiful Adeline. You certainly paint a vivid picture of your cat and I can see it now after enjoying the stretch, now just draped over the chair.... Yep...... Your cat certainly is in the right place.... and loves it. They are so magnificent and a delight to observe any time.
