The Chariots Of Troy Poem by Ekwueme Kelechi

The Chariots Of Troy

Thy glory unimagined
That springeth forth from thy crust
Glowing the nature of thy creator
Your fiery eyes
Searching the intent of my heart
Creation attest thy protection
A close friend art thou indeed
Thou comforts the lonely in times of ostracism
A seclusion to the afflicted
An obedient fellow art thou and helper to all
I can hear your voice
Singing to me the melodious gift of creator to mankind
Your smile to and fro bewitched me
Arising an interminable elation in me
Unity gives tthee a fascinating contour
Oh! How I miss thy comfort
I promise to be in thy domain again
