The Chicken Crossed The Road Poem by Randy McClave

The Chicken Crossed The Road

Rating: 5.0

I have been told
That the chicken had crossed the road,
Just to get to the other side;
But, they had lied.
Crossing the road was all true
But, that is between only me and you,
For the eggs someone else was very fond;
There was a blonde.
The chicken had crossed the street
A middleman was there to meet,
Salvation of the chicken's life was the true plan
So, the other rumor just began.
