The Chosen Ones Poem by Richard Jarboe

The Chosen Ones

The Chosen Ones got a target on their back,
The Chosen ones are under attack,

AND THEY'RE SURROUNDED.

The Chosen Ones are praying everyday,
The next World War won't come their way,
Cos they're surrounded.

English Christians gave the Jews a home in Palestine,
To the Muslims who lived there, the deal was a crime.

WW3 could be the end of the Chosen Ones and their friends,
WW3 could also be the end of organized religion.

For the UNchosen ones, who won't last long,
The new means of murder, kills the Weak and the Strong.

To those of us who have no choice,
To those of us who have no voice,
Should we just fade out of sight,
Or feed the starving before they bite.
