The Class Of '58 Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

The Class Of '58

What a glorious idea to celebrate
with a huge frosted birthday cake
displaying class colors to impress...
singing Happy Birthday to all of us

We each turns seventy in this year…
Conversing in a familiar atmosphere
Refreshed voices are recognizable...
Faces of some are not identifiable

Congregating with many years behind
Our youthful days are mused on rewind
Hip and knee replacements are compared...
tumors removed… heart valves repaired

A sense of vitality reverberates and grows
As the partying continues and drinks flow
Sharing accomplishments and adventures...
displaying a smile with bright white dentures
