The Clock Strikes Two - Poem by casandra jacobs

It's still a few hours
till I'll see your face
and I'll be back
in my happy place
my smile it's true
and this joy
is unreal
the pain I once felt
theres no need
to conceal
once tarnished
and tatterd
my heart all askew
now restored
and brilliant
looks just like new
I'm counting the hours
and battering minutes
till the clock
strikes two
and I can see you
