although times are hard
and we struggle
with life
and love
it takes only hope
and optomism to survive
there are few things
such as compassion
for otheres
and ourselves
a shoulder
no matter how young ot old
to cry on
a friendly smile
in times of trial
a family
that you can always run to
and a strong gand
that can help you up
when you loose
your footing
slip and fall
these things
although simple
and often plain
are the thing
we need most
to fuel the fire
of our hearts
and the
spark of our lives
