The Clouds Are Crying Poem by Juan Olivarez

The Clouds Are Crying

Rating: 5.0

The clouds are crying,
God must be sad.
Somebody's been lying,
Somebody's been bad.

The clouds are crying,
From high in the sky.
Cold tears are flying,
Someone tell me why.

The clouds are crying,
The tears pouring down.
There is no denying,
The pitiful sound.

The clouds are crying,
But look to the sky.
The good lord is smiling,
There's a rainbow up high.

I like the tender, almost innocent feel of this poem, and the good imagery. Well done.
