The Cold Shoulder Poem by Megan Elizabeth Wilcox

The Cold Shoulder

turn you head
and close your eyes
don't look
and don't tell
the evidence is there
but you don't see it
you don't have to care
sitting alone in the world
watching it all pass me by
crawl back under my rock
sleep until this hell is gone
my pain is on display for everyone to see
but they all close their eyes
they're upset because i don't hide
