The Collapse Of Democracy. Poem by David Wood

The Collapse Of Democracy.

If two chess players disagreed
On who won the game,
The game would fall apart.

If two tennis players argued too
If a ball was out,
The game would disintegrate.

If an election was won by one party
And the other party disagreed
It is democracy that fails.

There is no card that would Trump
A winning hand if the winning hand
Was indeed a valid winning hand.
