The Collisions Poem by Benjamin Chiu Uy

The Collisions

The Collisions

It would be this indifference,
If we are not these living skins,

It would not be a living body, it can accepts rejections,

The faults beyond these intangibles,
Stars are formed or destroyed,
Impunities sings forever in the realm of nature,

Ifthese were notliving brains, living nerves,
We will not be hearing this musical tone together, not swaying, not dancing to this throbbing rhythms,

If it were just the loss of breaths, it would not be this glorifying to be alive,

The faults of the tangibles beyond these intangible objects

And yet, and yet, we felt,
The disentegrations of these colliding stars.
A meeting of stars and the collisions.
