The Color Of My Dreams Poem by Ndina Kamaro Muofhe

The Color Of My Dreams

They beshadow the tricks of foes
And float like a spirit so free
A deeper dive,
They let go to the bottom of my essence
Streaming beneath like sharks in caves of an ocean
In quest of a wonder they yearn to be
When treasures found, are opened.
Tides above,
They surf to victory leaving legendary trails

They paint images of my thrill
They code my existence under sun's radars
And become my colorful umbrella
To shelter my dear darling cinderella

They are egos of my soul
Who refuse to lose a battle they fight
They crash as Indigo, only to rise as Auburn
To stir my lakes of euphoria

The color of my dreams
My pride they paint
Only to be my glory
