The Cost Of Greed Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

The Cost Of Greed

Shadows grow, a whispered name,
Turns good to bad, fuels a flame.
Labels stick, a heavy brand,
Builds walls between us, across the land.

Greed's a hunger, never fed,
Fear's a whisper, fills the head.
Blindness walks, it doesn't see,
The cost of all this misery.

New fights begin, the seeds are sown,
When trust is lost, and hate is grown.
A sad, sad truth, for all to know.
