The Crazy Blade! - Poem by Marissa Dunken
This dirt i breath,
cloggz every nick and crany of my happyness!
I inch this old rusty blade covered with blood to the soft patch of virgin skin!
I press as hard as I can,
Biting my lip.
I feel a rush of that old familiar sting take over my mind.
The blade slips out of my grip, and clinks to the floor.
I look down and realize i am now sitting in a pool of blood.
i start to regain concious and ask myself 'what did i do to deserve such a punishment? '
Every time i go to sleep you make me relive every moment again.
i awake screaming and clutching myself as if someone was trying to take my clothes.
I relive the past everyday!
If all you were trying to do was get the best of me than congradulations!
You have suceeded because you took everything i had!
I cut to escape,
To make myself worthy of something.
To show i can make a commitment.
To know that blade wont take my soul but to only make me feel better.
The blade is my LIFE! !
