The Creature In The Roof Poem by Kevan Taplin

The Creature In The Roof

Rating: 4.5

THE CREATURE IN THE ROOF

I've never actually seen it
And I‘ve got no scientific proof
But I've often heard strange noises
…From the creature in the roof.

He creeps down and muddles my room
When I am fast asleep at night
And he's the one who gives me nasty dreams
When I wake up with a fright

But when I am much older
And believe the noises are just the rain
The creature will be banished
And I'll never see him again

Delightful! The drawing really adds to it, as well.
