The Crimson Forest Poem by Crimson Soul

The Crimson Forest

Rating: 5.0

Lost In The Forest Of Dreams So Thick,
Searching For Something That Can Only Be Sick;
Wizened By Age, Never To Be Found,
Deep In The Earth, Untouched With No Sound;

So Now I'm Searching For The Thing In This Forest,
What It Is, I Do Not Know, But Only This,
I Have Nothing To Show;
Nothing To Find, Nothing To Look At,
Only The Forest, That I Cannot Laugh At;

The Crimson Leaves Of Dreams Are Falling,
Through Fire And Ice Alike,
So What Could I Do To Stop This Madness And End Finally The Strife? ;

I Do Not Know What I'm Searching For,
I Do Not Know Where I Am;
I Do Not Even Know If I Want To Find,
This Thing Lost In This Land;
The Thing That Was Left Behind,
Can Only Fall Deeper Inside;

The Trees Are Burning, The Leaves Are Curling Up,
The Inferno Is Rising, It Will Not Stop;
Now I Am Consumed By The Flames I Once Sought,
And As I Burn, I Have One Thought;
The Glint Of The Thing, That Was To Be Forever Lost,
Found Again, But Now Left To Rot;
Guarded By Fire, And The Fire Burns Me,
The Trees Are Suffering, All In Glee;
I See A Glimmer Of What I Found, And Before I Burn,
I Utter The Sound;
The Screaming Wail That Fills The Heavens,
The Piercing Shriek Of The Lost Hopes Never Found;
I Remember The Word As I Burn In This Hell;
So Now As I Burn,
Alive And Alone
Won't You Come With Me?
The Dove Borne To Love?
