The cross, an iconic symbol
Reminds us, every day
That the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ
Is the Truth, the Life, and the Way!
It stands for God's Agape love
Witnessed throughout our land
A sign that the Father sent His Son
For every woman, child, and man!
So, how is it that anyone
Or group of one accord
Would possess a passion to remove
The symbol of our Lord?
This emblem represents to us
Hope for humanity
For the Son of Man took our place
On a cross at Calvary!
It's powerful representation
Is a message that shall remain
Impacting a world that needs the cross
To forever be sustained
