The Darkness Poem by Honey Bateman

The Darkness

Rating: 5.0

The Darkness came into my Life
It fulfilled me with Light
Daylight has gone
and the arms of the Darkness kept me save
Deep inside my heart I hoped for never seeing the sun again
But now, my crying soul is blinded by Daylight
So I'm longing for the end of the day
waiting for dusk
But I'm afraid, it will never come

So now I'm lost in the Darkness of Sun
Damned not to feel the Light of Darkness again

I like it very much. Your play between Light and Darkness. And the antagonism, you use. Surely heartfelt!
