The Dawn Of Goodwill Poem by Ravinder Kumar Soni

The Dawn Of Goodwill

Rating: 5.0

Together we shall cover the miles
That defines our destiny,
There is nothing to deter or delay us.
You do not believe me, my friend,
But it is true,
The passage over land and sea is clear,
There are no obstacles to hold us back,
Puzzles stay solved,
The air is quiet and comforting,
There are no tears to shed and wipe;
Like in a pleasant dream laughter reigns,
Children unafraid play and shout,
They make the grass and trees sway
Touched by their smiles,
Our sturdy legs will take us along the lights
Lining the corridor,
A gust of wind has reached the end
Carrying in a whisper the message announcing
Our arrival.
Soon, the birds will chirp and daylight will spread
Energizing water, land and the air.
