The Death Of A Wife Poem by Adams King

The Death Of A Wife

Rating: 2.5

I never felt much pains
Dark is the name for this day
Above my head a blackened sky
What took you made me cry

Home seems not to be home
For I have lost my dear soul
Death ate you with an ugly mouth
I wonder what this life is all about

I'm now like a day without the sun
For my wife is dead and gone
No one can tell the feelings felt
Nor sorrow of a loved one's death
