Of course it is sad
That Prince Philip HRH,
Died, even at the
Age of ninety-nine. He just
Missed out on a great
Innings. However, it seems
The Royal flatterers
Are out in their droves; across
Mainstream media:
All desperately trying
To see which one can
Be the most obsequious
In their phony praise.
This wall to wall coverage
Is over the top.
O it's doing my head in!
I've simply had it
With all this propaganda.
Barmy BBC
Won't respond to my complaints.
Consequently, I've
Decided to make a move.
Put pen to paper
And then compose this poem.
