The Debut Poem by Meena Losini

The Debut

She called phonemes to play its role
He is timid and shy and refused
She invited morphemes to set her goal
He is tired and busy and Exhausted
She pleaded syntax to stay for a while
He is strong and active with his soulmate
She welcomed semantic to reach out
He is embarrassed and laughed at her.
Puzzled and baffled
She appealed to her Master to set it right.
Phony, Morphy, Synty and Semanty
They obeyed Him and walked with her
As toddlers
Through the passages
Trachea, Glottis, Palate,
Tongue and Teeth and Lips
To pose in front of you
with tug of war
To do their duty

A poignant rendition written in heightened poetic diction with insight. A beautiful creation elegantly crafted in persuasive poetic expressions with artistic brilliance. Thanks for sharing, Meena.
