The Demon Child Stirs the Sea
By William He
The molten sands of crimson dread,
Where time unravels like a serpent's thread.
Demons are swept away,
A tempest in human guise,
His eyes twin voids, where galaxies collide then.
The Devil's Fury hums, a spectral hymn.
Shattered memories,
Withered remains scorched by fire.
His long spear,
The shard of lightning's broken spine,
Divine animals rush and presses against each other.
The earth convulses, a beast in restless sleep.
The East Sea quakes and secretly weeps,
Rivers of ash flow backward to the sun,
He stirs the depths of endless waters with magic freed.
He rides the wind, a chariot of flame,
His laughter echoes in symphony,
The heavens shatter and their glass tears fall,
The Lotus blooms, not in water but in air.
Storm of stardust sighs.
He is unmaking the night.
Lost souls wander in this desolate space,
These spectral arms from the void.
His essence shimmers, a flickering ember a defiant gleam.
Standing between the void and the beating heart,
He sings of realms beyond despair once.
Auspicious stars flicker,
Cosmos folds into his palm,
The phantom battle ever.
