The Demon That Is Me - Poem by Arin Karma
She has taken their smiles,
She has taken their happiness,
She has committed those murders,
She loves the taste blood and the site of destruction.
The whole city is underwater.
She’ll move on to the next town and the next after that.
She lures her victims to her with her with her looks of innocence and beauty,
Lures them into an ecstasy.
Right before she destroys them from the inside-out.
She’s evil, she’s a witch, she’ll kill you if she finds you.
She’s the one who forces her claws in the shadows, and shreds up the night.
Bits of moonlight everywhere.
She has killed the sweet, caring being that you’ve knew before.
She has taken enough crap from everyone.
She has been misunderstood, underestimated, and taken for granted many times before.
Who would've thought someone that caring, could turn so evil?
Her eyes bleed with crimson regret and her veins are pulsing with the sticky revenge that poisoned her in the first place.
No mercy for anyone.
She has been hurt too many times by humanity, and now she seeks to destroy it.
And nobody can stop her, not even herself.
