The Desert Air Is Cold - Poem by Juan Olivarez
The desert air is cold and clear,
The stars all shine so bright.
Cold and frosty shining high,
With their iridescent light.
The air so clear that heaven beckons,
And you swear you see God's smile.
And you linger out in the desert,
For just a little longer while.
