In shadows deep, where whispers creep,
A tale unfolds, where few dare leap,
From cradle's cry to the schoolyard strife,
The Devil lurked, seeking to steal my life.
He whispered lies like a serpent's song,
'You're worthless, lowly, you don't belong.'
With venomous words, he aimed to destroy,
But deep in my heart, there flickered a joy.
Each morning I rise, a warrior reborn,
With scars like armor, from battles I've worn.
The weight of his whispers, heavy as stone,
Yet I stand unyielding, I'm never alone.
The flames of despair may dance in my sight,
But I face them boldly, igniting my light.
Through hell and high waters, I've walked through the fire,
Each trial a forge, the heat my desire.
Promises broken, like glass on the floor,
Yet still, I rise up, I'm ready for more.
For luck may be fickle, and fate may be cruel,
But I am the master, I'm no one's fool.
With divinity's grace, I tread on this ground,
Each step a declaration, I won't be bound.
The Devil may snarl, with his legions in tow,
But I'm armed with faith, and my spirit will grow.
In the darkest of nights, I've danced with my fears,
Turning pain into purpose, transforming my tears.
For every ‘you can't, ' there's a ‘watch me soar',
With wings made of courage, I'll always want more.
The mirror reflects a visage so strong,
A soul that has weathered the tempest's cruel song.
I see not a failure, nor shadow of shame,
But a warrior forged in the fires of pain.
When doubt tries to strangle, I scream and I shout,
'Devil, you liar! You've no claim, no clout! '
For the promise of dawn is the light that I seek,
In the face of my trials, it's strength that I speak.
With each breath I take, I challenge the night,
No chains can confine me, I'm ready to fight.
For the Devil may whisper, but I'll raise my voice,
In the symphony of life, I'll make my own choice.
In the echoes of silence, I hear my heart's drum,
A rhythm of hope, to which I will come.
It beats for the dreamers, the lost and the brave,
For those who have stumbled, and those who will save.
Through valleys of shadows, where few choose to tread,
I'll carry the torch, a light for the dead.
Not just for the living, but for all who have cried,
For the warriors within them, who refuse to hide.
So come, let us gather, the broken, the worn,
In the garden of struggle, new blooms will be born.
With hands held together, we'll rise as a sea,
For the truth of our strength is, the Devil ain't got nothing on me.
With every tear shed, a river of grace,
I'll swim through the currents, I'll find my own place.
In the tapestry woven with threads of the bold,
I'm stitching my story, I'm breaking the mold.
For every dark moment, there's a lesson to learn,
In the furnace of heartache, my spirit will burn.
The ashes of doubt will fuel the new fire,
With each flicker of hope, I'll climb even higher.
I'll laugh at the shadows, I'll dance with the night,
For the Devil may linger, but he's lost in my light.
With an army of angels, my soul will ascend,
In the battle of life, there's no need to pretend.
So here's to the fighters, the dreamers awake,
To those who refuse to let silence forsake.
The journey is long, but the path is our own,
With each step we take, we're never alone.
For the Devil may whisper, but I've got the key,
To unlock the horizons, to set my soul free.
With a heart made of courage, I'll weather the storm,
For the truth of my being is where I am born.
So sing with me now, let the world hear our song,
In the chorus of life, we'll prove we belong.
Through the trials and triumphs, our spirits will see,
That the Devil ain't got nothing, nothing on me.
In the end, it's the light, that will shatter the dark,
With the fire of passion igniting the spark.
So rise up together, let the anthem be clear,
For the Devil may linger, but we've conquered our fear.
With hearts intertwined, we'll create our own fate,
For the power of love is the strongest of gates.
In the tapestry woven, we'll find harmony,
And the Devil ain't got nothing, nothing on me.
