Heart Of John Connor Poem by Dashaun Rashod Snipes

Heart Of John Connor

1

I Am
I dress like death,
Cloaked in black,
In a county ridden with fear,
A nightmare come true,
Gothic and gothic,
Powerless, yet reigning,
My blackness blazes,
A prodigy, a shining star,
In a world of isms,
But I am darker,
Darker than the bottomless pit.
I stand up,
With new amendments and declarations,
Vitality for the unmeasurable faith,
Blowing the ceilings off of rumors,
That bind, hinder, and execute,
The black dream.
I am a Psycho,
Opening the door,
For a birthday celebration,
Not just for one blockbuster,
But for an evolution,
A native cyberpunk utopia.
With electrifying detail,
I defy darkness,
Even when outnumbered,
And outvoiced,
By evil authorities,
In uniforms of oppression.
I walk with deafening silence,
Louder than ambassadors,
Preaching with bullhorns,
To the masses.
For the first time,
I step out,
To rewrite my debt,
With anointing and rage,
Brewing lawsuits,
For skepticism.
The minority rises,
Silencing celestial trials,
With tenacious joyfulness,
In our boroughs and boughs.
Demons may rejoice,
But we reap the benefits of glory,
Laughing at the faces of adversity,
And nationalism.
The world of Islam,
A system of Ishmael,
But not promised to us,
The people,
We have no regal royal future,
But we will not be bullied,
On the triple,
We will clog the system,
Of religion.
No spell can bind us,
No smell can deter us,
No name can define us,
No badge can oppress us,
No aggressor can defeat us,
No abuser can silence us.
For I am like a hundred miles,
Of on post black knights,
Fully armed and ready,
To compete with evil witches,
No spell,
No smell,
No name,
No badge,
No aggressor,
No abuser,
Can hold back the hate,
That we have been taught to nurture,
But I will nurture love instead,
Within my body and soul.
For I am black,
I am strong,
I am bold,
And I will not be held down,
By the hate that surrounds me,
For I am black,
And I am proud,
I am unbreakable,
I am unyielding,
I am black,
And I am free.

In this county, I dress like Death
Cloaked in dark, shrouded in breath
A gothic era, a primal fear
But I stand strong, for I am here
My skin is black, like the night
Deeper than the bottomless pit's sight
But I am more than color, more than race
I am a child prodigy, with strength and grace
They tried to bind me, to hinder my dreams
But I rise above, through all their schemes
Power outages, blocks in black
But I shine through, with no lack
I am the Psycho, the one they fear
But I walk with silence, my voice clear
Louder than any bullhorn, preaching hate
For I am here to destroy that state
They try to strip me, through oppression and pain
But I have learned, to laugh in the face of their disdain
No more to be enslaved, by their evil ways
I stand tall, unafraid, in the light of day
No spell can hold me, no smell can bind
For I transcend, the limits of their mind
No name, no badge, no authority
Can dim the light, of my identity
I am a hundred miles, of post-black knights
Ready to compete, against any wiccan's might
No aggressor, no abuser, can stop me
For I am free, in my authenticity
Their religion, their nationalism
I reject, with no hesitation
For their world is a system, of Ishmael
But I am a child of God, with no equal
Openly unwilling to have a merging hand of agreement, other than that of my own.
Minority rules in their favor; Unfamiliar and inexperienced hands, are dead weight, I don't need to be forced to haul, don't need to feel; not working to fill, don't know what it's about, and will only hold me back.
No regal reign, no promised land
But I stand tall, with no demand
For respect and love, is all I seek
No hate can bind me, for I am unique
So I dress like Death, in this racist town
But with my faith, I will wear a crown
For I am stronger, than any evil force
And with my light, I will stay the course.

I am Death, clothed in black,
In a county where hate runs rampant;
A primal and chronic fear,
My presence, they can't suppress it.
Blazing on, like a gothic era,
A blackout, power outage for miles;
But I am a child prodigy,
And I shine on all their ism's guiles.
Blacker than the bottomless pit,
Yet I stand tall with unmeasurable faith;
Blowing the ceilings off of rumors,
That try to bind and hinder my race. Metaphorically from the sweet octave sounds of the Spirit displays yet still here, and seemingly everywhere as of even through the present day.
For the corruption, artistic Psycho, I open the show,
On the birthday of evolution;
A native cyberpunk utopia,
With electrifying detail in each motion.
I am strategic in darkness,
Even when outnumbered and out voiced;
By those in uniforms, abusing power,
I walk with deafening silence, my choice.
I rewrite what I'm indebted for,
With anointing that inrages and brews;
Lawsuits for skeptics, who doubt
How a minority can triumph and cruise.
In our boroughs and boughs,
Where demons are known to rejoice;
We celebrate with joyfulness,
And reap the benefits of our voice.
Opposition and oppression,
Violence that we've learned to endure;
But we laugh in the face of adversity,
And nationalism, it holds no allure.
The world of Islam, a system of Ishmael,
But we have no promised land;
No royal future reign or name,
Yet we won't let them silence our brand.
No bullying, no clogging of religion,
Only a ripple effect on the Devil's forehead;
With everything we have to project,
Our authenticity shines ahead.
We are a hundred miles on post,
Black knights, ready to compete;
With the evil wiccans, no spell or smell,
Can stop us from taking our seat.
No name, no badge, no aggressor,
Or abuser, can bind the hate;
That we've been taught to nurture,
But now we rise and seal its fate.
For we are Death, dressed in black,
But we will not be silenced or tamed;
We will continue to blaze on,
With our unbreakable spirit, forever unchained.

I Am The Black Dream
I dress like death, a shadow in the night
Overly cloaked in a racist county's fright
For I am the living, breathing nightmare
That haunts their primal minds, oh how I flare
In this gothic era, I am the blackout
Power outage for blocks, I reign without doubt
A child prodigy, shining on isms
Blacker than the bottomless pit, I am the prism
With a new amendment, I declare my vitality
No longer bound by rumors, I rise with clarity
For I am the Psycho opening the door
Not just for one black blockbuster, but something more
An evolution of a native cyberpunk utopia
With electrifying details, each crown and crevice inopia
Strategic enough to withstand the darkest of nights
Even when outnumbered, my essence still ignites
Deafening silence, louder than any bullhorn
As I walk with purpose, my mission yet unborn
To rewrite what I am indebted for
My anointing enrages and brews lawsuits galore
For those who doubt the celestial trials I've faced
Celebrating with tenacious joy in my own space
Where demons reap the benefits of glory
But I've learned to laugh at their story
Oppression, violence, and constant opposition
They try to strip me of my regal ambition
But I am nameless, without a royal reign
Yet their bullying won't stop me, I'll still remain
A hundred miles on post, a black knight fully armed
Ready to compete with the evil that's charmed
No spell, no smell, no badge, no name
No aggressor, no abuser, can put out my flame
In this world, up close or distant
I am the hate they were taught to nurture, oh so persistent
But I've learned to nurture love instead
For I am the black dream, and I will not be misled.

I am the embodiment of death,
Cloaked in darkness, a gothic breath,
In a county where racism runs deep,
My mere existence makes them weep.
A primal fear, a chronic nightmare,
For centuries, they've tried to snare,
But I am a prodigy, a shining light,
Black as the pit, but oh so bright.
A blackout, a power outage for miles,
But in the midst of it, I reign with smiles,
For I have a new declaration of vitality,
To shatter the chains of their brutality.
I will not be bound by their rumors and lies,
I'll break through their barriers, reach for the skies,
For I am a psycho, an unstoppable force,
A native cyberpunk, with power source.
I am electrifying, crown and crevice,
A strategic mind, in darkness I'll thrive,
Even when outnumbered, out voiced,
I'll stand tall, and make my own choice.
In my footsteps, silence echoes loud,
Louder than any ambassador's crowd,
Preaching with their bullhorns, full of noise,
But my quiet strength, they can't destroy.
I'll rewrite what I owe, with anointing rage,
I'll brew lawsuits, for their skepticism page,
For the trials we face, celestial and divine,
We'll celebrate in our boroughs and vines.
For demons may rejoice, in our pain and plight,
But I'll learn to laugh, at their faces of fright,
Their oppression, their violence, their hate,
I'll nurture it, within me, fuel my fate.
In a world of religion, that seeks to control,
I'll stand tall, a beacon for all to behold,
For the world of Islam, may not be promised,
But I'll reign with no name, no title, no polished.
Their bullying, their aggression, their abuse,
Will not hinder me, nor make me recluse,
For I am like a hundred black knights,
Fully armed, ready to fight.
No spell, no smell, no badge, no name,
Can stop me, from rising to fame,
For I am the one, the system can't contain,
With everything I have, I'll break their chains.
So beware, oh evil wiccan,
For I am coming, like a storm, ready and stricken,
No aggression, no abuser can bind,
The hate that I've been taught, to nurture and mind.

I Am Black
I dress like death, cloaked in black
In a county where fear is its own attack
A primal nightmare, a chronic truth
But in my gothic guise, I shine like youth
A blackout ensues, power outage for blocks
But I reign like a prodigy, my spirit never stops
My melanin, like the bottomless pit
A defiance to those who try to limit it
With each step, I rewrite the rules
An amendment to break away from fools
For the black dream is not just one
But a revolution, a rising sun
A cyberpunk utopia, with electrifying detail
Every crown, every crevice, we will not fail
Against darkness, we stand strong
Even when outnumbered, our voices must prolong
Through deafening silence, we speak loud
Piercing through the masses, we gather a crowd
For the first time, I step out with pride
To show the world what I'm truly meant to ride
Anointing my spirit, raging with fire
Brewing up lawsuits against those who conspire
To keep us down, to strip us bare
But we laugh out loud, we do not despair
For the world of Islam is not our fate
Our destiny is not to be filled with hate
We have no throne, no regal name
But we will not be bullied, we will not be tamed
A hundred miles of black knights I stand
Fully armed, ready to take a stand
Against the evil witches, the ones who cast spells
But we are stronger, we have no smell
No name, no badge, no aggressor
Can hold us back, no matter the pressure
For in this world, up close or far away
We will not be bound by the hate we were taught to obey
So I walk with pride, in my black identity
Embracing every part, with love and sensibility
For I am black, and I will not be silenced
I am black, and I will not be defined by violence.

I, dressed in deathly garb
Cloaked in fear, in a primal county
Where nightmares come to life
Blazing on, like Gothic fire
A black out, power gone for miles
But I, a prodigy child
Shine on, despite the isms
Blacker than the pit of night
With a new amendment, a declaration
Of vitality, for the oppressed black dream
Psycho opening for my birthday
Not just one blockbuster, but an evolution
A cyberpunk utopia, electrifying
With detail on every crown and crevice
Strategically built to withstand darkness
Even when outnumbered, out voiced
By evil authorities, in their uniforms
Abusing power with their gavels
I, walking in deafening silence
Louder than ambassadors with bullhorns
Stepping out for the first time
To rewrite what I'm indebted for
Anointed with rage, brewing lawsuits
Against skeptics, who doubt
The silence of minorities in celestial trials
Celebrating with tenacious joy
In our boroughs, our boughs
Where demons rejoice and reap
The benefits of glory
For the tipsy high of enslavement
But I have learned to laugh out loud
In the faces of adversity
Nationalism, the world of Islam
A system of Ishmael, no promise
For the people, regal royal future reignless
Without bullying me, I stand tall
On the triple, I can clog
The system of religion
A mere ripple effect
On the devil's forehead
With everything I have
I project and evangelize
My authenticity, like a hundred miles
Of post-black knights
Fully armed and ready
To compete with the evil wiccan
No spell, no smell, no name, no badge
No aggressor, no abuser
In this world up close
Or distant, can bind
The hate that I was taught
To nurture and pamper
But instead, I respect and caress
Within my body and soul.

8

I am the embodiment of death,
Cloaked in the depths of a racist county's breath,
A nightmare come true, a primal fear,
Ignited by hate, fueled by the ignorant jeer.
I walk the streets, a gothic blaze,
A blackout in a world of narrow-minded ways,
But I am more than a mere blackout,
I am a prodigy, a child of doubt.
Black as the abyss, I stand tall,
A testament to resilience through it all,
I shine on the isms, I break the mold,
A black dream that cannot be controlled.
I am the Psycho, opening the door,
To a new evolution, a cyberpunk lore,
A utopia for the native soul,
With details so electrifying, they'll blind and droll.
Each crevice, each crown, strategic and strong,
A fortress of light, even when surrounded by wrong,
I walk with silence, louder than a shout,
Deafening the voices of hate with my clout.
For I am stepping out for the first time,
To rewrite what I'm owed, a debt that is mine,
With an anointing that rages and brews,
Lawsuits for skeptics and their narrow views.
In my boroughs and boughs, demons rejoice,
But I stand tall, with a tenacious voice,
For they may strip me, oppress and enslave,
But I laugh in their faces, with joy I'll behave.
For the world may try to box me in,
But I am not bound by religion's sin,
I am Ishmael, nameless and free,
No one can bully me, not even the Devil's decree.
A hundred miles of post-black knights,
Fully armed and ready for the fight,
Against the evil wiccan, no spell can defeat,
No smell, no name, no badge, no deceit.
For I am no aggressor, no abuser of power,
Just a soul filled with love in this dark hour,
No one can bind the hate that I've been taught,
But I choose to nurture love, in body and thought.
