When It Rains Poem by Dashaun Rashod Snipes

When It Rains

1
When it rains, sorrow falls
Pounding on the hearts of all
Humiliation, humility it brings
Brokenness, bitterness, the pain sings
Heartbreak, doom, all dismayed
Uncomfortable, uncensored, afraid
Deprived of peace, we pant and plead
As the storm clouds black out our needs
Remorse grips us in its hold
Mourning what we cannot control
Philosophical explanations, theories in vain
When it rains, it pours, we feel the strain
But in the midst of the downpour
There is still hope, something more
For every rainfall must come to an end
And in its wake, a new beginning begins to blend
Renewal and return, rebirth of the land
And in our hearts, we understand
That with every storm, there is a purpose
To wash away the old, to make us surface
Consumer of pain, but also of growth
We learn to let go, to stay afloat
Consultant of our own healing
Learning, evolving, revealing
With each consuming drop of rain
We delegate our fears, our pain
And refine our hearts, our souls
Until we reach our ultimate goal
With every flash of lightning
We find strength, we find fighting
To push through the darkest of nights
And see the dawn with hopeful sights
As the rain falls, we give in
To the process of rebuilding from within
Brainstorming solutions, seeking clarity
In the midst of this brewing adversity
For every storm, there is a conclusion
A chance to find our own resolution
To let go of dissatisfaction
And embrace the power of transformation
We hunger for peace, for a new start
And the rain is but a part
Of the journey, the road to rebuilding
As we stand tall, no longer trembling
We are the brewery of our own destiny
The masterminds of our own legacy
We are the ones who hold the key
To unlock the doors of possibility
So let it rain, let it pour
For in its aftermath, we will soar
With every drop, we will refine
And reference our strength, our divine
Confirmation that we are stronger
Than any storm, any thunder
For when it rains, we learn to rebuild
And in the end, we will be fulfilled.
So when it rains, embrace the discomfort
For in its midst, lies the power to unearth
The hidden strength, the undiscovered light
And emerge as conquerors, shining bright.

2
When it rains, my spirit breaks
Humiliation, my soul it takes
For all my pride and vanity
Are washed away in this calamity
Sorrow fills the cracks inside
Brokenness, my constant guide
Bitterness seeps into my heart
As I watch my world fall apart
Heartbreak, my constant doom
Dismayed, in this watery tomb
Uncomfortable, I try to hide
But the rain exposes my bruised pride
Uncensored, it pours down
Deprivation, my only crown
Solemn, I give into the pain
Giving up, in this endless rain
Panting, I try to catch my breath
As the rain brings me closer to death
Black out, my mind shuts down
Remorse, my only sound
Mourning, for the life I had
Philosophical explanations, I try to add
Theory after theory, I try to find
But the rain drowns out my troubled mind
Hope, a distant light I seek
Renewal and return, the future I seek
Rebirth, from the ashes of despair
The rain brings me back to repair
Consumer, of my own mistakes
Consultant, to my own heartbreaks
Consummate, in my own sorrow
The rain teaches me to borrow
Delegate, my pain to the skies
Refine, my soul with every drop that flies
Reference, the lessons it brings
Confirmation, to the growth it sings
Dissatisfaction, a thing of the past
Hunger, for a new beginning at last
Rebuild, from the ruins of my mistakes
Brainstorming, for solutions that it takes
Brewery of emotions, the rain it is
Solutions it brings, with every single kiss
Conclusion, to my journey through the storm
The rain has helped me transform
When it rains, I no longer fear
For the rain has made me clear
That with every drop that falls
My broken pieces it gently calls
And I rise from the ashes, anew
My rebirth, a testament to the rain's true
Power to heal and to revive
As I learn to thrive, in this watery hive.

3
When it rains, humility falls from the sky
Washing away all the pride that once held high
Sorrow creeps in, filling the cracks of brokenness
Leaving behind a bitter taste of bitterness
Heartbreak pours down, in heavy downpours
Doom and dismay, knocking at our doors
Uncensored emotions, laid bare in the rain
Uncomfortable truths, we can no longer feign
Deprivation of happiness, in every drop we feel
Solemn reminders, of wounds that won't heal
But still, we give into the storm's mighty force
Giving up on the sunshine, without remorse
Panting and breathless, we struggle to see
As the rain pours down, blacking out reality
Mourning for what was, what could have been
A philosophical explanation, we try to glean
Theories of fate, written in the cascading drops
Hopeful for a renewal, as the rain never stops
A return to ourselves, a rebirth of the soul
Cleansed by the rain, we feel once again whole
Amidst the storm, there's a consumer's call
To let go of material things, and stand tall
Consultant of the heart, the rain becomes
A consummate teacher, as it drums and hums
Consuming all our worries, our fears and doubts
Dissolving them into the puddles, without a shout
A delegate of peace, the rain gently falls
Refining our spirit, as it gently calls
A reference point, in the midst of chaos
A confirmation, that we can withstand the loss
For in the rain, we find dissatisfaction
A hunger for change, a need for action
As the storm subsides, and the sun appears
We see a chance to rebuild, to face our fears
Brainstorming solutions, in the aftermath
Like a brewery, the rain has brewed a new path
And with a conclusion, we stand tall and strong
For when it rains, we learn to carry on
For in its tears, lies the beauty of life
And the power to overcome, all our strife.

4
When it rains, I feel the humiliation
The humility and sorrow combining
Broken and bitter, my heart's foundation
Doomed to be dismayed, no silver lining
Uncomfortable, I am in my skin
Uncensored emotions, I cannot hide
Deprived of peace, I can't help but give in
To the pain and anguish, I can't deny
Panting, I try to catch my breath
But the rain keeps pouring without fail
My mind goes black, consumed by death
Remorse and mourning, a never-ending trail
In a philosophical explanation
I search for a theory to explain
Why my heart is in a state of devastation
Why my hopes and dreams have been slain
But amidst the despair, there is still hope
A chance for renewal and return
A rebirth, a chance to cope
With the heartbreak and lessons learned
I am not just a mere consumer
A consultant for my own life
I must become the consummate improver
In this journey, I must strive
No longer can I be a delegate
Passing off my problems to others
I must refine and conquer my fate
Find my own solutions, uncover
And when the storm finally subsides
I come to the ultimate conclusion
That my dissatisfaction, I must abide
For it fuels my hunger for reconstruction
With a renewed mind, I begin to rebuild
Through brainstorming and introspection
Like a brewery, my thoughts are distilled
Until I find my own solutions authentication
And in this process, I find my peace
As I become my own reference
Confirmation that my pain will cease
And my heart will find its own preference
For in the midst of all the rain
I have found my inner strength
I have conquered the darkness, the pain
And found my own path, at arm's length
So when it rains, I no longer fear
The humiliation or the brokenness
For with each raindrop, I am clearer
And I find my own way to progress.

5
When it rains, it pours,
Humiliation seeps through my pores,
My pride stripped away,
Humility in its place to stay.
Sorrow fills my heart,
Brokenness tears me apart,
Bitterness takes over,
Heartbreak, a constant rover.
Doom looms in the distance,
Dismayed by my own existence,
Uncomfortable in my own skin,
Uncensored thoughts, where do I begin?
Deprivation of love and joy,
Solemn in my own ploy,
I give into the pain,
Giving up, nothing left to gain.
Panting with every breath,
Blackout, a temporary death,
Remorse for the mistakes I've made,
Mourning the happiness that once stayed.
A philosophical explanation,
Theory of my own creation,
Hope seems like a distant dream,
Renewal and return, just a mere gleam.
Rebirth, a distant possibility,
A consumer of my own misery,
Consultant, to my own despair,
Consummate in my own nightmare.
Consuming thoughts of doom and gloom,
Delegate my happiness to my own tomb,
Refine my pain, but to what end?
Reference to a life I can't mend.
Confirmation of my dissatisfaction,
Hunger for a different reaction,
Rebuilding my broken spirit,
Brainstorming, how do I clear it?
A brewery of thoughts and feelings,
Solutions, but none revealing,
A conclusion that I must face,
When it rains, it pours with grace.
But in the midst of the storm,
A glimmer of hope begins to form,
A ray of light in the darkness,
A chance for a new start, a harness.
With every drop that falls,
I hear a new voice that calls,
A voice that whispers, 'You can rebuild',
A voice that says, 'You are not unfulfilled'.
And so I embrace the rain,
For it washes away the pain,
And in its place, I find clarity,
A new beginning, a true rarity.
So I'll dance in the pouring rain,
Embrace the discomfort, the strain,
For in the midst of the storm,
I'll find my true form.
And when it rains, I'll no longer hide,
For I've learned to embrace the ride,
And in the end, I'll find my peace,
For in the rain, I've found release.

6
When it rains, it pours
Humiliation strikes at my core
Humility shattered, I'm on my knees
Sorrow fills me, I'm left with brokenness
Bitterness consumes, my heartbreak complete
Doomed to wander, dismayed and uncomfortable
Uncensored emotions, deprivation of peace
Solemn thoughts, give into despair's release
My giving up, panting for a new start
Blackout, my mind and soul, torn apart
Remorse weighs heavy, mourning my loss
Philosophical explanations, I try to toss
But theories fail, in the face of reality
Hope dwindles, as I confront the brutality
But in this moment of despair
I find a glimmer of light, a ray of care
Renewal and return, a chance for rebirth
A consumer no more, but a consultant on earth
I must refine my thoughts, my actions too
A consummate effort, to see this through
No longer consuming, but learning to delegate
My broken pieces, I must now recreate
With each step, I reference my past
Confirmation that this journey will last
No more dissatisfaction, hunger for change
I'll rebuild myself, no more in estrange
Brainstorming solutions, to break free
From the storm that raged inside of me
And at the end, a bittersweet conclusion
My pain, now a source of strength and fusion
And when it rains again, I won't be dismayed
For I have learned, in the darkest shade
That amidst the storm, I can still find peace
And rise above, with a heart at ease
In this brewery of life, I'll brew my own fate
With each challenge, I'll grow and elevate
For I am not broken, but a warrior in bloom
Unstoppable, as I conquer the doom
So I'll embrace the rain, with an open mind
For it's the trials that make me refined
And in the end, I'll find my way
For I've learned to weather the storm, each day.

7
When it rains, I feel the humiliation
The humility, the sorrow, the brokenness
The bitterness, the heartbreak, the doom
I am dismayed, uncomfortable, uncensored
When it rains, I give into my despair
I feel like giving up, panting for release
My mind goes black, my heart filled with remorse
Mourning for the pain, the wounds that won't heal
When it rains, I turn philosophical
Searching for explanations, theories to ease my mind
But hope seems elusive, a distant dream
Renewal and return, rebirth feels impossible
When it rains, I am just a consumer
Of sadness, pain, and disappointment
A consultant for my own misery
But never able to fully consummate it
When it rains, I delegate my emotions
Refining them to fit society's expectations
But they never truly reference my true feelings
Leaving me with a constant sense of dissatisfaction
When it rains, I hunger for something more
To rebuild my shattered dreams and broken heart
But all I can do is sit in my own brainstorming
Feeling like a brewery of emotions, overflowing and uncontrolled
When it rains, I search for solutions
But they seem to slip through my fingers like water
Leaving me with the inevitable conclusion
That sometimes, there are no answers, only pain and sorrow
But when it rains, I also see the beauty
In the way the drops fall, refreshing the earth
A reminder of how even in the darkest moments
There is always the potential for rebirth
When it rains, I am reminded of my humanity
How I am just a delegate in this world
And how in the midst of my brokenness and despair
There is always a chance to refine, to rebuild, to be reborn
When it rains, I find comfort in the storms
Knowing that even though they bring discomfort
They also bring renewal, a chance to start anew
A reminder that even in the darkest moments, hope can shine through.
