The Devil's Little Box Of Colors - Poem by Mustapha Depravity

Vision in misconception
The Obsidian Vision
Force-fed with ease

Scarlet then black
Velcro then skin
Open the third’s eye lichgate
Is this what you’ve eaten so blind sighted?
They issue and you follow
They issue and you follow
They’re commands

Stare into your oblivion
Crawl unto your appolyon
Why has your mind been misshapen towards the truth of beauty?
And portable
To anyone

Keep watching
You won’t want to miss the ending
Satiric at times but
Still imprisoning
Your mind
You are nothing but a blind and brainwashed
Drunk on television
That’s blocked your own vision
So subliminal
And perfectly consuming you
The constant is fluxing
The mind is erupting
To glutton on data newly received
Locking reason and logic
Silhouetted splendor is a few clicks away

“Gentlemen Prefer Blondes”
Anorexia Nervosa is reborn
From your lies the children dream
Hopes and desire are torn
And yet at the devil’s box we still gleam
