The Devil, The Fallen Stars, And I Poem by Miklos Balogh

The Devil, The Fallen Stars, And I

Flashes of black lights from a gloomy sky: thunderstorm, my dying desire
Came as lightning from murky clouds.
Under the cover of the night, they brought frost to my flaming heart.
Frozen fruits on silver plate: diverse salad of loneliness and pain.

I sliced my head for Him to see my emptiness.
'Can you read my spirit, can you feel my sense? '
I asked if He heard the songs of the spheres (my unborn children)
'Can you feel my pain? '
He just looked at me and smiled:
'You serve my pleasures. I steal your Heart! '
I danced with the Devil in the shadows of the stars.

Times were flying. Lives were plying. Broken words filled the atmosphere.
A lost child sang the hymn of a dying soul. A dead bird was spacing in the night.
Forgotten memories marched on dirty water. A scream hang unconscious on a tree: frozen
I felt your last kiss on my fertile lips: pale shades of white illusions.
