The Dewdrops Song Poem by Reyvrex Questor Reyes

The Dewdrops Song

In cold of night
From fog alight
My drops, to wet the petals, red
With pristine liquid that I shed
To soak the grasses wild and free
Except the ones under the tree
Where lovers soon may sit in bliss
On early morn to dream and kiss

Oh bud, drink up
Empty your cup
Before the sun can dry me out
Ensure your blooming comes about;
I will not try to drench the rose
As ladies lift it to their nose;
And pooled drops I would never want
If it will cause to drown an ant;
True, I collect to soak the bough
To fall like rain as winds would blow.
