The Difference Poem by Juan Olivarez

The Difference

Rating: 5.0

The difference in me, when compared to you,
Is that you get really vicious.
When words fail you.

You start saying that I should die,
That I'm ugly and mean.
With your eye on the sky,
Like a saint you seem.

You say nasty things,
Off the top of your head.
As Che's praises you sing,
Wishing I was dead.

You call me ugly names,
That doesn't speak well.
As you play your games,
But people can tell.

I've never once said a bad thing to you.
Except that I don't agree with your views.
That is what democracy is all about,
But that is not you, without a doubt.

You delet comments,
You hide from the truth.
You rave and you rant,
And you are so crude.

If you love Che, then go all the way.
It doesn't matter to me what you say.
And since you say you want me dead too,
All I can say, is God bless you.
