The Different Poem by James Grengs

The Different

Rating: 2.0

Look at him.
They stare, not understanding.
He smiles
-Too big-
He waves
-Strange-
Others laugh at him,
Not I, for I see in him
Something no one else can see.
I see in him the normalcy
The rest of the world has abandoned.
He is different, but I think
That that is good,
Being different from this crowd.
Laugh on, cruel world-
Mock true normalcy,
Mock honesty,
Lose the truth in life.
Then,
You lose.
