The Discovery Of Hungary Poem by Gail Garrison

The Discovery Of Hungary

Rating: 5.0

Mother bear
comes out from behind
the blackberry bush,
eats the auto parts store.
Her stomach hurts
so she eats Denny's,
the gas pumps,
and a thrift store.
She goes to lie down.
She sleeps a while.
In Spring we find
Eastern Europe
where her stomach
used to be.
