The Distance Poem by Walter Miring'u Nyagah

The Distance

The distance between me and you
Is like an endless hole in a shoe
I don't know what I'm gonna do
The food here tastes like poo
But no worries, the cooks I'm gonna sue
That aside my boo,
I really miss you too
I miss you asking 'What's new? '
I miss replying texts in the loo
And the sound of your cows that moo
But I'd rather you lock them in the zoo
So they can leave me to you...
