The Donkey Whines Poem by Paulos Ioannou

The Donkey Whines

Rating: 5.0

The donkey whines
The donkey whimpers
The load is high
The load is wide
The load is heavy
Master lighten my load
Master take it off my back
I can no longer track
Master, master I hobble,
I limp, I totter and I teeter
Take pity give me a rest
Master, master where are you?
