TheSilent Loudness

The Dream - Poem by TheSilent Loudness

The innocent, the mercifull
Bring peace and love wherever they go
Though the lights have gone out for their show
There's still one way to reach them, I know

So now I close my eyes to sleep
In hopes they visit in my dreams
For in my dreams, they speak to me
They close my eyes so my heart can see

I drift away into the depths of space
Until I see a familiar face
She looks at me with her age-old eyes,
Two great brown pools that fill the sky

She whispers to me a piece of advice
Quickly before she waves goodbye
That rather then lips, to read one's eyes
For they are the key to see through lies

Many more like her roam my mind
They have so much knowledge for me to find
So now to await tomorrow's dreams
And see what the departed will have for me.
