The Drugs Poem by Paul Warren

What makes people take drugs
Is it the Marilyn Manson song for mugs
I don't like the drugs but the drugs like me
Until the drugs will be all you can see

Is it that your life is difficult for you
And that your only relief is to use them too
If it becomes that you cannot see
How it is hard to exist or to just be

There becomes a time when a decision is made
It's for the drugs usually and your life continues to fade.
